Garúa is an invitation-only, close-embrace, encuentro with high-quality music on a sprung wooden floor all set in a gothic Irish castle. It’s more than that though… Fundamental to a good life is the Craic and as well as wonderful DJs and all the trimmings we have a dedicated Craic delivery team. The Craic is about socialising, laughter and shared moments. Join us and be part of the magic.
Our invitation to register extends to all approved members of our Garúa Milonguero Facebook Group. You must obtain the password to access the registration form.
The registration period runs from 1 April 2020, 12:00 pm to 1 June 2020, 12:00 pm.Here is the lineup for the entire weekend. We suggest you come along early and join us on the first night. We have a few surprises, as well as a great venue, in one of the best pubs in Tullamore. A wonderful chance to shake off the week and get into your dance mode.

The bar and raffle
In addition to the free tea, coffee and water, there will be a full bar offering a fine selection of Irish Whiskey, Craft Beer, Prosecco, Red and White Wine, Irish Cream, Soft Drink and Juice. Vouchers only can be used at the bar. To get a set of bar vouchers buy a ticket in the raffle drawn on Sunday. The vouchers are included in your raffle entry. Raffle tickets are available at Charleville Castle reception. Cash only.
The breaks
You will have 3hrs on Friday and Saturday, and 2hrs on Sunday, to relax, visit local attractions, explore Tullamore town and grab a bite to eat with friends. Shuttle buses will run you to and from the castle in just 7min. Here are our recommendations for local bars, pubs, restaurants, cafes and other cool things to do.
All milongas will be held in the Great Hall at Charleville Castle. The preparty is held at The Townhouse which is also the meeting point for the shuttle bus to the castle each day.

Aside from trying the local ‘black gold’ guinness there are plenty of things to do during your weekend stay in Tullamore. Here are just a few activities we recommend:
Route A takes, at worst, 2 hours from landing in Dublin. The total return journey (bus and train) from Dublin Airport to Tullamore is just under €36.00. We would suggest you aim to land in Dublin no later than 14:00hrs on the day you travel. The very latest you could arrive is 16.30hrs. Equally, hiring a car and driving is a great way to see Ireland.
