This is the first place we would send anyone looking, rated three-star (or tree-star as Irish people pronounce it) but with a four-star service. It has super reviews on Trip advisor and elsewhere, Recently bought out by the Great National Hotel Chain and got a refit but to everyone in Tullamore, it is the Central Hotel.
We checked out the rooms, you will not be disappointed. We will shortly have a discount code for this place when Seanie the manager gets back from his annual fishing trip to Achill Island. Like everywhere else it is five minutes walk from everywhere.

- 650 metre walk to the Garúa Bus Stop
- 650 metres walk to Tullamore D.E.W. Whiskey visitors centre.
