So to open Garúa 2023 (or Four Feck’s Sake, as we prefer to call it) Friday Afternoon’s DJ Set we have a man we wanted for the first edition but couldn’t get him. Thankfully he is available now. Oliver needs no introduction to anyone who has been dancing in Europe in the last few decades, and he has played pretty much everywhere, except Ireland.
There is no better man in our opinion to seduce you onto the floor for a balmy afternoon of tastefully crafted tandas. A man who was playing Federico before he was trendy and who always loved Troilo and Pugliese. I can’t recall the first time I heard Oliver but I can recall many moments being delighted by his choices.
We are delighted to have such a wonderful DJ as Oliver Kruse-Dougherty to open our event with finesse and style.Of course we will also be delighted to welcome his wife Siobhan, who told us she is looking forward to simply walking around the streets of Maynooth and hearing her name pronounced correctly
