The magic of Garua will continue into the first night under the expert guidance of Dag. I have known Dag a long time, we first crossed paths many moons ago DJing the same marathon in Vilnius, multiple times since I have heard him play. Each time dancers got an accomplished mix of energy and delightfully traditional music, delivered on cue for the room’s mood. Before the pandemic, Dag was well known across Europe. Now he is even more appreciated, thanks to his fantastic initiative with Michael Lavocah. With Tango by Year he warmed our hearts during those dark nights without tango. He might have been ‘El Rey de Zoom’ during lockdowns but we know of no better person to inject adrenaline into the Friday night and get the room rocking.
